The main island, also known as Bahrain, is home to Bahrain’s capital and largest city, Manama. Manama serves as the country’s governmental and commercial center.

Al Muarraq is the site of Bahrain International Airport. Many of the smaller 36 islands on the western side of the Persian Gulf, between Saudi Arabia and Qatar are uninhabited. Petroleum and natural gas constitute Bahrain’s principal natural resources.

Bahrain established the first free public education system in the Persian Gulf region in 1919 and the literacy rate was estimated at over 90 percent. The University of Bahrain was established in 1986 and the College of Health Sciences was founded in 1976 and trains physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.

    My Name Is Husaain i am a bahraini student currently studing in AMA universety i am 19 years old i am looking for a scholarship or half a scholarship to study in Canada, i want to inquire information about how can i apply, what is required and which unviersties currently offers their scholarships to international students i am looking for a major in telecomunication or I.T.
    My cousin also would like to acompany me and study Fine Art in the same university or a one the that is close by preferbly the same universtiy a fast replay would be much appreciate it.


    All the Canadian universities have their programs online. You can take a look to see the programs.

    Once you have a university and program – ask the university which scholarships you are eligible.
